My Friend

 

    Wednesday night, May 26, the Spirit of God began speaking more directly concerning the gospel being preached to the Native Americans, and more specifically the Navajo people were spoken of and the areas in which they reside. I was reminded of a dear friend I have who is a full blood Navajo. Years ago, around 96-97, I met a girl through a mutual friend on the Northeastern Campus in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. We became friends instantly and have remained great friends throughout all these years. In speaking with her she had just recently returned from her trip after visiting her parents and family who still live very traditionally on their reservations in New Mexico. I thank God for my friend and what God has in the days ahead.
